In Ayurveda, spring is kapha season — a time when the earth and water elements are most dominant. When kapha is balanced, we feel steady, loving, and grounded. When aggravated, we can feel sluggish, congested, heavy, and unmotivated (physically and emotionally).
In this series, you will:
Learn a bit about Ayurveda with a special focus on kapha dosha
Understand why kapha naturally accumulates in the spring
Practice Kapha-balancing yoga (invigorating, heart-opening, heat-building flows designed to clear stagnation and increase motivation)
Learn simple springtime shifts in food and lifestyle to keep kapha healthy and happy!!
Expect uplifting practices that build warmth, increase circulation, and leave you feeling clear and empowered.
This series is great for anyone feeling stuck after winter, curious about Ayurveda, or wanting to align their yoga practice with the rhythms of nature.
We have mats and props in the studio. Come ready to move and learn something!
