Aromatouch Technique
THE AROMATOUCH TECHNIQUE
is a gentle, non-invasive method of applying specific essential oils along meridians and points on the back and feet. Developed by Dr. David K. Hill for the essential oil company dōTERRA, the practice uses a defined sequence of touch and oils to promote deep relaxation and overall wellness.
The technique targets four physiological factors that can disrupt bodily balance:
Stress of all kinds
Toxic insult from the environment
Inflammation in the body
Autonomic imbalance (balancing the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems
The session lasts 50 minutes and uses predictable flowing hand motions to calm and soothe the nervous system. The oils applied are:
Balance (Grounding Blend) – for stress and grounding
Lavender – for relaxation and calming
Melaleuca (Tea Tree) – for immune support and cleansing
On Guard (Protective Blend) – for immune enhancement
AromaTouch (Massage Blend) – for soothing tissue and tension
Deep Blue (Ice Blue) – for inflammatory response and sore muscles
Wild Orange – for uplifting mood and energy
Peppermint – for cooling and homeostasis
